introduction to THE GIVER

this book is about a boy named jonas who lives in a black and white world. he has a friend who is really a close friend. there are rules in this story (almost like north korea) that keep the kids and adults “safe”.

 

the committee of elders take everything seriously. they are there to make sure that everyone gets there shot everyday. there shot is supposed to keep them inb “check”. it makes them not have any feeling. this is the beginning of my favorite book

SSR+ REFLECTION LETTER

THE BOOK THAT I AM WRITING ABOUT IS CALLED THE 5TH WAVE. THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK IS RICK YANCEY. THIS BOOK IS ABOUT A YOUNG TEENAGE GIRL WHO SURVIVED AN ALIEN LIKE ATTACK AND SHE GOES AROUNG LOOKIN FOR SUPPLIES AND SHE MUST BE HOME BFORE NIGHT BECAUSE THAT’S WHEN THE ANIMALS COME OUT TO “PLAY”. THE CHARACTER THAT I LIKE THE MOST WOULD HAVE TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER BECAUSE SHE IS SO AMAZING SHE DOES EVERYTHING THAT I WOULD DO IF THIS HAPPENED TO ME AND SHE CARIES AROUND ONE OF MY FAVORITE RIFLES…….. THE M4. THIS BOOK WOULD HAVE TO BE THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ….WHY….BECAUSE I ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO A FRIEND BUT I DON’T THINK THAT ANY OF MY FRIENDS LIKE READING. MY INTEREST IN BOOKS HAS GROWN SO FAR. THE THING THAT SURPRISEED ME THE MOST IN THIS BOOK IS THAT THE SURVIVOR IS A LITTLE TEENAGED GIRL. MY GOAL WAS TO AT LEAST FINISH THE 5TH WAVE.

UNIFORMS PRANK

So recently on Tuesday in the morning when we were in the gym I went to go see one of my favorite staff members and as we were talking he says come here I want to show you something and he took me over to his computer and I looked at his computer and I seen that there was an email from the principal and the title of the email was named uniforms and when I seen that I did get kind of mad and I said well why would they give us uniforms 2 weeks into school and he said I don’t know that’s a good question. so as the day went on I could not stop thinking about it and everybody was mad there was fights almost being broke out that’s crazy and so as I was walking down the hall I stoped and seen the principal and I said are we really gonna have to where uniforms and she says im not at liberty to discuss that with you and right when she said that someone was yelling down the hall saying it’s a prank don’t fall for it and I didn’t think about it being a prank so im sitting there so confused and I keep asking myself why the heck would we be whereing uniforms that’s so stupid and I was flaming angry at this point of the day and so I was talking to my friend in ms. Knarrs class and all the people are talking about it and a lot of people were believing it so I really don’t know what do think now and so the bell rang and that’s when I went into mr. heorings class and I was reading my book and theres a wall that’s solid and then there is a wall that opens up and that wall opened up and the teacher had a uniform paper in her hand and right then I really started to get mad I mean I was raging at how stupid it was that they were gonna give us uniforms in the middle of nowhere and so she kept talking about it like she said we are gonna where uniforms so this school looks more presentable and that’s when everybody pops off and everything is so loud its like a concert and it was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself talking and then she came in and she stood in the middle of the room and said was I believable and everyone freaked out they were so relieved and I was to it was the craziest day of eighth grade.

i am a reader

The last book read was the infinite sea that was a great book i have not finish it yet but when i do i will go get the last chapter. I got this book from half priced books, i thought this book was gonna be about the end and how everyone went to war and im pretty sure i was correct because so far that is what the book is about. I chose this book because i read the back and when i did i got hooked and that was just from the back of the book so that has to say something.
